Farm digger,salesmanor patent sample.Missing the seat and a lever that lowers the backwheels.The lever that lowers the front wheel works fine,but is missing something that sets the lever into a notch for adjustable height on the wheels.Its unmarked and not stamped.The lady I bought it from told me the story of it and who made it and wBut I can't prove it, so if you want to know the story send me a message and I will tell you.Three of the bolts are replacements.The lady told me it was a patent sample,but it could be a toy,so if you know please tell me. Its 20 inches long and 12 inches wide
We spent all night investigating the story that the lady who sold this to me told us.Its 99% verified.Its a patent sample or salesman sample called a quack grass eradicator.We bought it in Mankato Minnesota which is 20 miles from Mapleton Minnesota w the inventor and maker of it lived.The lady who sold it to us got it from her Husband who is now dead,He got it in the 30s or 40s from the inventor named Knute Rue who had a blacksmith shop in Mapleton and made full sized models he sold to farmers.The story with this patent sample told by Knute to the dead Husband, and then to the woman who sold it to us, and then to us, and now to you, is Knute sent the patent sample to some company and they removed a lever, and sent it back saying it was incomplete and then they stole the patent.This part of the story can't be proved.We found out Knute is buried 5 miles from Mapleton. My Grandpa who is 90 and has lived in Mapleton most of his life remembers Knute.It really got interesting when I typed Knute Rue Into google the first listing is from , so I signed up and was able to download the exact patent diagrams and description of it, the diagrams are an exact match to the one I'm selling, right down to the last nut.I have the four real patent pictures saved as .jpg and will send them to you, but you have to email me at and give me you're email address.
