Great Father's Day Gift Idea!A Genuine Wooden Burma Shave Advertising Road Sign. This is one of six signs from 1934 which were used in a jingle campaign advertising Burma Shave Cream along the roadsides of America up to 1963. The sign measures 11 X 40 inches. The sign shows some very slight wear and fading as with age. This is one board from a six board set....I do not have the other 5 signs. There would have been five signs comprising a jingle with the sixth board always saying Burma Shave. Color red is strong, white paint has very slight fade. Back side is blank.The wood is in very stable condition with no cracks or warping.From the Steve Soelberg Burma Shave Collection.Original sign set would have said: Tho Living Costs Are Upward Bound Four Bits Still Buys Half A Pound Burma Shave Please ask questions before bidding.Please pay within three days of end of auction or make prior arrangements with seller.I will ship immediately upon receipt of good funds.
