PLEASE READ DISCRIPTION CAREFULLY: Up for auction is one (vase in center in picture of 3) Viking/Fayette Slag Glass Vase. This vase is in mint condition and does not have any chips, cracks, fractures or dings. This vase stands 23 inches high. It weighs just under 5 pounds. Manufacture and true age is unknown to me as t are no markings or tags. However, I recently purchased several pieces from a collection that was started in the late 50's into the 60's. I was told that all of these pieces were purchased from the factory outlet of Fayette Glass Company in Fayetteville, Ohio. Being originally from Ohio, I remember my grandmother who worked for The Jewel-T Company talk about the Fayette Glass Company amung other great pottery and glass companies based in Ohio. I will be placing other pieces of Viking/Fayette Slag Glass from the same collection, so be sure to check them out.
