February is the 9th issue in the Sarah Stilwell Weber Calendar Series created from the artists twelve most significant works as personally selected by her daughter and model, Jane Weber Winston. Preserved on fine American earthenware by the Newell Pottery Co. and produced in an edition limited to 100 firing days. Jane Weber Winstons hand-written notation on the back of the plate reads In portraiture, the face is all important. Mother unerringly draws our eye to this little girls face through line and shape. Bradex No. 84-N18-1.9. Plate No. 7733A, measures 7 1/4. Plate has never been displayed and is in mint condition in the original box. Numbered Certificate of Authenticity and original paperwork included, along with a most interestsing brochure written by William Robertson, M.F.A. detailing all the fine points of the painting to enhance your enjoyment of this artistic work.
