This is a superb Antique Federal style Burl Walnut Slant Front Secretary Desk or Bureau dating to the 1930's. The desk has a slant front pull down flap, inside it has several 'pigeon' holes , a drawer for storing stationery etc., plus a brown leather writing surface inset into the flap. Under the desk compartment t are 4 dovetail jointed burl walnut drawer s, they are all fitted with the original pulls. Measurements : 30"wide x 1 8"deep x 4 0"high. In good condition for it's age, showing only light wear, this desk has beautiful burl walnut graining and the original finish, which is in good shape, a high quality very attractive antique piece!
