Federal Columbia 16 Piece Set "Come for Tea" Excellent This is a neat little set to get anyone started on a vintage Depression Era pattern. Imagine inviting 3 friends for tea or coffee and using this little set to serve snacks. You will have to find one more bowl but that is the fun of collecting. The Columbia pattern was made from 1938 to 1942 by the Federal Glass Company. The included pieces are listed below--I've listed the original item names, but most of us use the pieces differently today. For example, the cereal bowl is perfect for serving fruit or pudding but hardly big enough for today's morning serving of cereal. 1 11" Chop Plate 4 Cups 4 Saucers 4 6" Bread & Butter Plates 3 5" Cereal Bowls The set must have been used occasionally but it is still in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or other significant damage-the only thing I noticed were a few minor scratches. Please note that the shipping weight is harder to estimate with a larger number of pieces like this. If my estimate results in a charge that is over by more than $2, I will sent a partial refund. The set weights about 9 pounds unpacked so I've estimated total weight to be about 11 pounds. I will use FedEx or UPS if it is cheaper or about the same price as parcel select even though not shown .
