Up for auction is this wonderful set of ten W.S. George Federal Duck Stamp Collector Plates. Each plate is dedicated to a Federal Duck Stamp Competition winner, and they are all in excellent condition with no scratching, chips, cracks, breaks or repairs. Each plate measures approximately 8 ½" in diameter and comes in it's original box. In the decade of the 1980's, the American people rediscovered the wonders of their natural heritge, rededicated themselves to its preservation, and signalled that commitment with an outpouring of art celebrating the glories of nature. Now an unprecedented gallery of limited-edition plates presents the most honored of all the wildlife art of the 1980's---the winners of the annual national Federal Duck Stamp competition. Newly integrated into a circular design by each original artist, the Federal Duck Stamp collectors plate series represents the pinnacle of acheivement in contemporary wildlife art.
