FEDERAL GLASS COMPANY 80 OZ JUG PITCHER
This jug or pitcher is by the Federal Glass Company - late 1920 - early 1930s. An almost identical item is shown in an old Federal catalog from 1928, the only difference being the one in the catalog had an ice lip. This piece is 8" tall, has a top diameter of 5" and a 5" base. It's listed as an 80oz jug in Federal catalogs, but actually holds 76oz to the rim. This early piece of Depression Era glass is in outstanding condition, free of chips, cracks or discoloration. It has the usual scratches on the bottom of the base from rubbing against dusty counter tops. Any questions? Do not hesitate to contact us. GM1942
