This is a set of five (5) of the 'Sylvan' footed sherbets. Federal made 'Sylvan', better known and more endearingly named "Parrot" by Depression era glass collectors, for only 2 years (1931-1932). "Parrot" features birds perched on twigs. This pattern, in any color, is becoming more and more difficult to find. Good pieces of "Parrot" are hard to find due to the fact that many pieces of the glass were too thin to take on the design and have since become damaged over the years. These sherbets are the footed cone variety. The color on all five of these sherbets is fantastic with no cloudiness. The sherbets are in excellent unused condition. Each sherbet is 2 3/4" tall and approximately 4 1/4" across the tope. A wonderful addition to any "Parrot", amber glass, or depression glass collection. I prefer Pay Pal but Money orders and Personal Checks (with time to clear) are accepted. Buyer to pay shipping of $12.50 and insurance costs. The insurance amount will be calculated at the end of auction. I prefer to ship Priority Mail but am willing to consider buyer's preferences. Shipping will occur on Tuesday or Friday of the Week. All items which payments have been received prior to that time will be shipped. Money orders ship as soon as received on the closest date and personal checks will require an addition 7-10 days to clear. If you have questions regarding an item, please ask before bidding. Please do not use this rate as I can not ship your items to you for this amount. All internationally shipped items paid by Paypal require a tracking number and fully insured to protect your items and receipt of the items so must be shipped Global Express or Airmail Parcel Post, which provides the tracking information.
