This particular brochure is extremely difficult to locate due to it's age, specialized topic, extremely restricted distribution and quality.WHAT'S INSIDE: This particular Federal Laboratories brochure touts the benefits of using their Federal-Ace Fingerprint Equipment. It appears that Federal Laboratories was a/the distributor for ACE Fingerprint Equipment Laboratory, Inc., which was originally located at 325 West Huron Street, (Miller Studio) Chicago, Illinois. Today, there is an Ace Fingerprint Equipment Laboratories, Inc., doing business in Wake Forest, North Carolina. The North Carolina Department of State indicates this corporation was originally from New York. The New York Secretary of State corporate database lists no record of this corporation.This brochure lists the following Federal-Ace products for sale: Ace Fingerprint Kit No. 2, Ace Fingerprint Outfit No. 2-C, Ace Fingerprint Kit No. 3, Ace Fingerprint Kit No. 3-C, Ace Fingerprint Kit No. 22, Ace Fingerprint Kit No. 22-C, Ace Fingerprint Kit No. 33, Ace Fingerprint Kit No. 33-C, Ace Sani-Fingerprint Ink, Ace Adaptable with Roller, Ace Dryprint Ink, and Ace Adaptable with Pad.This two-page brochure (front and back) is printed on white paper with black inks, measures 8 1/2" x 11" and weighs 0.3 ounce (9 grams) and is in good condition - especially given its age! A LITTLE ABOUT FEDERAL LABORATORIES INC.: The Pennsylvania Department of State indicates Federal Laboratories Sales Company, Inc., came into existence on January 1, 1921 -and- Federal Laboratories, Inc., on September 30, 1933. A merger occurred on September 27, 1989. Federal Laboratories was purchased in 1994 by Mace Security International (i.e. "MACE"). In 1998, Mace sold Federal Laboratories to Armor Holdings, Inc. Armor Holdings was acquired by BAE Systems on July 31, 2007 and renamed BAE Systems Mobility & Protection Systems. The company changed hands so many times, that we felt like we were playing "the shell game" trying to research its history.Federal Laboratories, Inc., had an interesting and at times, extremely disconcerting history. This is to be expected when you manufacture products to be blind, choke, nauseate, sicken, injure, maim or kill various populations (civilian or otherwise).
