This is a gorgeous Federal/Duncan Phyfe Style Mahogany Crossbanded and Inlaid Extending Dining Table, dating to mid-1900's. When fully extended the table measures: 85"wide x 40" deep x 30"High. Without the leaf the table measures: 64"wide x 40"deep. The top surface of the table has beautiful mahogany graining and the edges are crossbanded and inlaid. This is a sturdy table, it has a carved column support at each end with 3 carved and arched legs that are fitted with lion claw feet and castors. A beautiful table with lovely graining and a wonderful warm rich patina, in good shape for a piece of this age, a gorgeous and functional table!
