From tip of the blade to the but cap, Felix Francisco goes all the way in creating this unique, one of a kind custom knife which was purpose built to withstand years and years of use. Stunning blade, guard and But Cap of this knife is the result of hours and hours of forging. Felix Francisco hand forged the blade with 1095 and 15N20 high carbon steels . Not many custom makers can keep such pattern of layers upon layers flowing all the way to the edge, creating a saw blade effect at microscopic level which allows the blade to keep cutting for longer period of time when other blades have dulled. Blade was specially forged for an incredible thickness of 9.90 mm which gives this knife, extra strength, durability, striking power and performance. Rockwell hardness of the blade along its edge is 59 and along the spine is 42-45. Overall length of this unique & elegant knife is 12.80" and the length of the blade is 7 inches. Blade has superb hand grinds on both sides with top side left with a false edge. Spine of the blade has gorgeous filework . Handle of this knife is an absolute gorgeous work of art. It is made of awesome looking camel bone & stunning BURL wood with brass and fiber spacers. Knife is complimented with an astonishing hand forged damascus guard and but cap. Weight and balance of this stunning knife is excellent and provides an incredible grip in hand. Weight of this knife is 642 grams, and weight of the leather sheath is 164 grams. This knife is complete with a top quality extra thick 164 grams leather sheath. The leather sheath is totally hand tooled and sewn. Extra thick leather and strong stitching make this sheath robust which can withstand years of rough and tough use. The sheath can be worn on belt.
