Folks up for Auction today is a Fender Harvard 5F10 Tube Guitar Amplifier. This amp. comes from the mid 50's to about 1962 I think. These pieces are very desirable among players and collectors. Getting harder to find these held up their name from way back and continue to be premier amp.s. This unit powers up and I get some static from that nice Jensen Special Design speaker, I think that is 10 inch. All looks original, I pulled two tubes to show in a pict. There is one tube missing and it is the one right beside the ones pictured. I'll try and get a picture of the tube arrangement. I've seen some tweed amp.s from back in that era and I can say that even though this amp. tweed has some scuffs and small rips,it is in good condition compared. They do show great character with the wear though. No holes inthe front cover, nice Fender label in the front and also nice leather handle still full for carrying. There is some surface rust on the control panel and the tone knob is missing, Hey, this amp. needs going through just like any other piece from that era. I meant to add there is a small hole in that Jensen which can be taken care of. The paper label is still readable to a certain point. The frame is still solid, in other words there is no play. Please calculate 27 lb.s to your destination. This amp. is being auctioned the way I bought read more
