I bought this Fender Precision Bass in 1992. Typical situation. I had been gigging in local pubs as a teenager for a year or so and had been saving some of my "appearence money". It was second hand ( I was told it is an '81 or '82) when i bought it but I had played it in the shop for a few weeks before i ended up buying it. It has a lovely rich tone which I like when plodding through "comfo", but can still "burp" out a Jack Bruce line any time.There has been an addional pickup installed which adds another option.The knobs are missing. I have got some random knobs but the chrome finish is chipping off them. There are chips on the fingerboard and on the finish along the neck. But hey, its just getting old.Let me know if you have any questions and I will try and answer them for you.Posted with eBay Mobile ADDITIONAL INFORMATION I have been doing a bit of research for everydody's questions and this might be a 1975 Precision not an '81 or '82 as I first thought.You will see on the photos that i had to change the exposure and brightness to better read the numbers1) I have a photo of the heel end of the neck. It is hard to see but there is a green stamped number that looks like 0103-?252. Having looked into what this number means i found that 01 = Precision Bass, 03=Rosewood neck with stripe, ?2 = what week of the year, so "something" read more
