This is my Fender Stratocaster in black, made in Mexico. It originally came with a white scratch plate and the usual standard Mexican pickups, but I have replaced all that with an HSS configuration and a cool new black scratchplate, although you will notice that the back plate and trem are still white; The humbucker has a coil tap switch and is made by Iron Gear, a great British manufacturer of pickups; this model is the Rolling Mill for that traditional PAF sound, ie not too powerful with a sensible output and great sound. It seems to balance nicely in the out of phase mode, especially when in humbucking mode strangely enough, with the middle pickup, which is a Lindy Fralin Blues Special; the neck pickup is an American Strat pickup for some nice Red Hot Chili Peppers tone; Altogether you can get many different tones out of this guitar, which feels very nicely played in too; it has been gigged and there are knocks on the body, none of which are bad or unsightly as you can see from the photos but you can see that this guitar hasn't just seen the inside of a bedroom. The neck and frets are all in good condition and has a very nice feel, very easy to play. Thanks for looking and .
