This Auction is for a Vintage Fender Bassman Silverface Amp Head Items Included: 1 x Vintage Fender Bassman Silverface Amp Head Spec: 1.5 Amp 117 Volts 60 Cycles Speaker 50 Watts This Fender Bassman Amp Head is stamped with 047920 on the tube sticker inside and also J 007 is printed. On one of the transformers there is 606-1-46 and 022871. On the back along the metal there is A63728. We are not sure of the date on this amp head but it was definetly manufactured before 1973 as after this year the tail on the fender logo was removed. Also it was made after 1965 as fender was taken over by CBS who then labelled the products "Fender Musical Instruments" rather than "Fender Electric Instruments" Therefore we have narrowed the age of this amp head to between 1965-1973. This item is used. The Fender Bassman Silverface Amp Head is in a used condition with wear marks and scratches on it from use.There is some plastic missing from one of the control knobs and a screw missing from the back. The condition can be seen in the pictures and it is working. We are not an amp specialists so the tubes may need replaced but is currently working.
