Made in Japan, in the same factory as fender MIJ telecasters, with the same machines by the same people. This of course ended in a lawsuit. This is a “Fenix By Young Chang” telecaster prelaw suit (has the correct fender shaped headstock). This is a very rare guitar. I am not sure on its age. It has not got a tone pot/circuit (as this can sap a tiny bit of treble from the sound) and this is a telecaster, so treble is its job. The neck pick up has tonnes of bite and fight which is complemented with a sweet bridge pickup. this gives a good range of tones and makes the guitar versatile. There are a few knock and light scratches on the guitar but nothing that i would worry about. It has had the bridge upgraded at some point to the ashtray style with brass saddles. i feel the through body string holes of the back have been fitted poorly. Though this is at the rear of the guitar so will not be visible and will not affect play in anyway, i have tried to included it in the photos. Please feel free to ask any questions, check out my other rare items! i have been informed that this guitar was never made in japan, but infact korea "Nice guitar. Shame the vintage bridge has been poorly fitted. I have seen this on other Fenix guitars. Just for your info, Fenix guitars were all built in Korea, never Japan. " - whitstableguitars sorry for
