Welcome to my auction! This auction is for an Aqua Opalescent Carnival Glass Spittoon. The pattern is called "Frolicking Bears." This was made for the International Carnival Glass Association (ICGA) Convention in 1981 in La Crosse, Wisconsin. It says all of that on the bottom. You can reference these pieces on the Carnival Glass website . Look under the Frolicking Bears pattern, and click on Souvenirs. According to the website, the Frolicking Bears pattern was used for 4 years. Some were made into Tumblers, and some were made into Spittoons. They were auctioned off at the end of the Convention. This Spittoon is 3 1/4" tall x almost 4 3/4" in diameter. It has an Aqua base, with gorgeous iridescence going up the sides and the opalescent top with pastel butterscotch overlay. Just beautiful! No chips, cracks or repairs. Check out my other items ! Payment is expected within 10 days; unless other arrangements are made, items will be re-listed.
