VINTAGE FENTON ART GLASS CRANBERRY HOBNAIL 10" BASKET 2003 edition of Fenton BIG BOOK OF FENTON - 1940 to 1977 - This MAGNFICENT basket is listed on page 96 as their No. 3830 Cranberry Opalescent Hobnail Basket and is probably one of their larger pc in this pattern and color. With a height of 11", the ruffled rim is 10" from end to end and the distance from handle to handle is about 7". The rim stands about 5" high from base to ruffle on the end and ultimately curves upwards w the handle is applied. It has a crystal handle that's crimped every 1 to 2 inches. . The basket lists for 200.00 - $225.00 and that was 5 years ago so it's no doubt, the value has increased. So you'll not only be getting a very hard to find Cranberry treasure from Fenton Art Glass but also a great investment! The basket is without any damage; so it's in virtually perfect condition.
