These are stunning and in perfect condition (4) Fenton "A Portrait of Liberty" Bicentennial Commemorative Plates. These were a project of the General Federation of Women's Clubs. These were released one plate each year for 4 consecutive years(1973-1974-1975-1976). Then on July 4th 1976 a final ceremony took place,where all the molds were publicly destroyed, thereby creating a limited edition. The plates include Give me liberty or give me death Life, liberty and the purduit of happiness In God we trust Proclaim liberty throughout all the land These plates are in mint condition. In the original boxes (the boxes show some wear) These plates were never displayed. There are three pamplets with them
