Attention Decanter or BLUE OPALESCENT Glass Collectors:Georgeous Fenton 10 Inch Hobnail Wine Decanter with 4 exceptionally well matched 4 inch Wine Goblets and a Crystal clear Hobnail 5 inch stopper.

This Blue Opalescent Hobnail Wine Set is among the most collectable pre-logo Fenton items ever produced. This set is as well matched as possible considering that it is hand made glassware. The neck of the decanter still has the FENTON Hand Made Label attached. This particular type of label was used from 1957 to 1970. Since Fenton made this color from 1954-1961 we can peg the date of manufacture for this item between 1957-1961. If you do the math you will come up with about 50 years old. The coloring is a aqua with creamy aqua opalescent hobnails.The handle which is applied without any problems and is the bamboo style in clear blue coloring. Both this Decanter and Goblets are featured in just about any reference book featuring Fenton Glass and the book value of this set with four goblets is over $500.00 The decanter is over 12 inches tall with stopper and it weighs nearly 2.5 pounds. It is a magnificent piece of art glass.

The quality of this set is outstanding. It is clean and has no damage or defects. Some minor grinding on the inside of the neck is evident which I assume was done to improve the stopper fit. The stopper fit is less than perfect (which is quite common ) but t are places w it fits well if you rotate the stopper until you find a satisfactory fit .

This magnificent set has a book value of about $500-600. Don't wait around and let the awesome "Buy It Now" price disappear!
