Item Description:

This is a beautiful, old Fenton BUTTERFLY AND FERN 7 PIECE WATER PITCHER AND TUMBLER SET in very RARE GREEN color with BLAZING MULTI-COLOR IRIDESENCE! They just don't come better than this...please treat yourself to the pictures. The color is listed as RARE in David Doty's Field Guide. This set casts electric iridesence...popping with color! The pictures show it off pretty well, but it is even better in person! It really, really dances in natural light! Shows up from across a room. It is an old vintage set, no piece is marked in any way. The very best of examples. It is striking on display. One of the finest matching sets in this rare color you will ever see... I have included several photos of the set and some individual pieces so you can see for yourself. Why try to piece together a set when you can buy a whole one right now? And it is super nice. You can reference this set in David Doty's 1998 Field Guide to Carnival Glass or The Encyclopedia to Carnival Glass and Edwards and Carwile. I guarantee this is authentic, early 1900's vintage Carnival Glass! All pictures were taken outside in natural light...no flash. I do NOT enhance photos. What you see is what you will get, but even better in person. I do not use reserves, never have, I believe the buyers should set the value, so bid with confindence and have fun...it will sell to the high bidder.

Item Condition:

This set is in fantastic conditon! No chips, cracks, fleabites or repairs to any piece! T are a few scattered manufacturing stretch marks, but you must really search close and long to find them. The bases are clean and show very minimal shelf wear. You must really, really stretch to see anything at all. T are some very tiny manufacturing bubbles also. Again...scattered and nothing abnormal. All are enclosed and you must hold the pieces up to the light to see them. T are a few very tiny flecks of loss of iridesence on a few pieces. Very tiny...like pin-head size. They are hard to find, you must look very closely. That is all I can find on this set. I've looked every piece over hard. I'm being very picky. I collect Carnival Glass myself and I'm picky with my descriptions, like I like others to be when I'm buying so you know what you are getting. None of these take away from this very rare set at all. It is an awesome example. Every piece gleams in natural light...the kind you pick up and say WOW! You will have a hard time ever finding a nicer set...and it would be way less trouble to pick up the whole one right now! This is a great opportunity. The set has been well taken care of and is very clean. The pictures tell the tale, please have a look. You can't go wrong with this rare pitcher and tumbler set. It is a superb investment quality set.
