Welcome Vintage Carnival Glass Collectors! 's an item you won't often see on ebay! Up for auction from a gorgeous, old estate is a VERY BEAUTIFUL, OLD AND RARE FENTON GREEN BUTTERFLY AND FERN WATER PITCHER! The iridescence is very colorful...SUPERB. LOTS OF ELECTRIC HIGHLIGHTS! The owner was an avid Carnival Glass Collector with over 400 pieces in their collection. IT IS NOT MARKED. It is an old, vintage piece. This piece has been well cared for and VERY PROUDLY DISPLAYED. This old beauty is AWESOME. No cracks, chips, fleabites or repairs. T are tiny enclosed bubbles scattered in the piece...the size of the end of a pen at the largest. T are a few VERY faint stretch marks. T is one small, shallow manufacturing divit on the side of the pitcher...the size of the end of a pen. Only visible upon very close inspection! I'm being very picky folks! They take nothing away from this piece. IT IS A SUPERB EXAMPLE! As close to Mint as you will likely find! The base is in excellent shape. That is it! You can reference this piece in David Doty's Updated 1998 Guide on page 22. The overall color of this piece is splendid. I think the pictures say it all....please take a look at them. At least I hope they do it justice as this piece is hard to represent properly. The pictures were taken in natural light...NO FLASH. This piece is so beautiful and has been extremely well cared for. A FANTASTIC example of vintage FENTON QUALITY, this pattern/shape and this RARE color! For those of you new to Carnival Glass, I guarantee you this is a 100% authentic early 1900's antique. I deal in Carnival Glass a lot and you can rest assured this is a HIGH QUALITY PIECE. It really stands out.
