WELCOME CARNIVAL GLASS COLLECTORS! Item Description: This is a beautiful, old Fenton DRAGON AND LOTUS - 3 in 1 Ruffled, collar base bowl in MARIGOLD with wonderful MULTI-COLOR IRIDESENCE. Very pretty iridesence on a marigold piece! Usually marigold doesn't cast this much color. This one is an exception. Please look at the pictures. It is an old vintage piece, not marked in any way. It is an outstanding example, packing lots of color. 9 inches wide and 2 3/4 inches tall. It is striking on display. A real beauty in this highly collectable pattern. I have included several photos of the piece so you can see for yourself. You can reference this bowl in David Doty's 1998 Field Guide to Carnival Glass or The Encyclopedia to Carnival Glass and Edwards and Carwile. I guarantee this is authentic, early 1900's vintage Carnival Glass! All pictures were taken outside in natural light...no flash. I never enhance photos. What you see is what you get. I do not use reserves, never have, I believe the buyers should set the value, so bid with confindence and have fun...it will sell to the high bidder. Item Condition: This bowl is in fantastic conditon! No chips, cracks, fleabites or repairs! T are a few scattered manufacturing stretch marks, but you must really search close and long to find them. Nothing that distracts from this gorgeous bowl at all. T is no damage to the face of the bowl at all. The base is clean and shows very minimal shelf wear. You must really, really stretch to see anything at all. T are a few very small manufacturing bubbles also. Again...scattered and nothing abnormal. All are enclosed and you must hold the piece up to the light to see them. That is all I can find on this gorgeous bowl. I've looked it over hard. I can't make out any wear on any raised surfaces. I'm being very picky. I collect Carnival Glass myself and I'm picky with my descriptions, like I like others to be when I'm buying so you know what you are getting. None of these take away from this excellent bowl at all. It is an awesome example! You will have a hard time ever finding a nicer marigold example. It has been well taken care of and is very clean. The pictures tell the tale, please have a look. You can't go wrong with this piece. It is a superb investment quality piece. I do accept International bidders on a case by case basis. You must e-mail me first. You must pay by PayPal only and accept the additional shipping charges to get it to you safely. Shipping: I ship USPS Priority Mail. Shipping is $11.50 Standard Flate Rate.
