WELCOME CARNIVAL GLASS COLLECTORS! Item Description: This is a beautiful, old pair of Fenton FLORENTINE Candle Sticks in AMETHYST in the VERY RARE 10 INCH SIZE with wonderful multi-color iridescence! This is an exceptional, nice find and one you'll want to take advantage of. I'm calling this color amethyst, but you can be the judge on if it is another color version of amethyst. These are simply superior examples, both match. T are plenty of photos to back this claim up...so please have a look. I had the hardest time getting these pieces to show their color, so look at all the photos, then know that they are way better in person. The colors are truly gorgeous. You will have a hard time ever finding another set like this. It is exceptional! Of course, these are old vintage pieces, not marked in any way. Superb on display, you can't get any better! I have included several photos of the pieces so you can see for yourself. You can reference this piece in David Doty's 1998 Field Guide to Carnival Glass or The Encyclopedia to Carnival Glass and Edwards and Carwile. I guarantee this is authentic, early 1900's vintage Carnival Glass! All pictures were taken outside in natural light...no flash. I never enhance photos, what you see is what you get. I do not use reserves, never have, I believe the buyers should set the value, so bid with confindence and have fun...it will sell to the high bidder. Item Condition: ( Pictures are part of the description...and I include lots of them...so please have a look and ask questions as needed!) These candle stickers are in fantastic overall c onditon! No chips, cracks, fleabites or repairs! Very nice! T are a few scattered manufacturing stretch marks, nothing uncommon. The bases are very clean, show extremely little wear. T are a few small enclosed, manufacturing bubbles in each one. Again, nothing abnormal, They are small to tiny. T is the slightests hint of wear on the sides, but nothing of particular note or uncommon at all. They are nice. Check out the up close pictures...t is nothing of particular note at all that hasn't been mentioned. The edges are even and clean. They sit upright and level. That being said...it is a SUPERIOR set of rare candle sticks. I think the pictures represent them just okay, honestly... they are WAY better in person. Lots of multi-color iridescence on both of them! They match very well! That is all I can find on this beautiful set. I've looked them over hard. I'm being very picky. I included lots of pictures, up close, so have a look. They are t to help you make your purchase decision. I collect Carnival Glass myself and I'm picky with my descriptions, like I like others to be when I'm buying so you know what you are getting. It is as nice of an example of these rare candle sticks as you will ever see. They are super clean and have been well cared for. Please have a look.
