WELCOME CARNIVAL GLASS COLLECTORS! Item Description: This is a beautiful, old and RARE Fenton LATTICE AND GRAPE Tumbler in the prized, gorgeous WHITE base glass with a Frosty Tint- 41/8 inches tall and 3 inches wide. The tumbler exhibits SPECTACULAR, VIVID MULTI-COLOR IRIDESCENCE..particularly Loaded with BLUES! An Outstanding example! This is a vintage piece....not marked in any way. It is SUPERB in natural light, please take a look at the photos and see for yourself. It is a the very best of examples, wonderful on display...very eye appealing. It is an excellent example of this pattern, color and shape and a terrific investment quality piece of glass. You won't find one better. I have included several photos of the tumbler so you can see for yourself. It looks even better in your hands as it is always very difficult to capture a piece like this on film and do it justice. You can reference this piece in David Doty's 1998 Field Guide to Carnival Glass or The Encyclopedia to Carnival Glass and Edwards and Carwile. I guarantee this is authentic, early 1900's vintage Carnival Glass! All pictures were taken outside in natural light...no flash. I never enhance photos, what you see is what you get. I do not use reserves, never have, I believe the buyers should set the value, so bid with confindence and have fun...it will sell to the high bidder. Item Condition: ( Pictures are part of the description...and I include lots of them...so please have a look!) This is a striking tumbler in excellent condition. It has no chips, fleabites, chips, cracks or repairs! Absolutely no major issues whatsoever. T are a few scattered manufacturing stretch marks, you must be looking closely to see them. Nothing u ncommon. The base is very, very clean, very slight shelf wear noted if any at all. You can feel the mold seems, just barely, nothing more. T are a few very, very tiny, enclosed, scattered, manufacturing bubbles...pin-head sized or smaller...only a few. Again, nothing abnormal. The rim is in fine shape. T hat is all I can find on this terrific, rare tumbler. If t is anything to mention at all...t sis some tape residue on the bottom of the tumbler and in one little place on the inside. I'm not going to attempt to clean it. I'll let the proud new owner do that. I've looked the tumbler over hard. I'm being very picky. I included lots of pictures, up close, so have a look. I collect Carnival Glass myself and I'm picky with my descriptions, like I like others to be when I'm buying so you know what you are getting. It is a super solid, investment quality piece of glass....fantastic. THE BEST of the BEST. It is a superb example of this pattern, shape and this color. You will be hard pressed to find a better one, anyw, if you drove the tires off of your car. It has been taken care of and is very clean. The pictures tell the tale, please have a look.
