Presented for auction is a beautiful Fenton SATIN Sand Carved Black Amethyst Chessie Jar "BUTTERFLIES". The Jar is SATIN, Chessie and 16 Butterflies are Carnival. Only ***5 0*** made Numbered and Dated . This one is #42/50/2009. Signed Rosso. Fenton logo inside base and silver Fenton label. No chips or cracks. Measures 8" tall and 4¼" tall, mint condition. 1st Quality. Sent in original Fenton box. A perfect gift for that special Fenton Art Glass collector who must have those rare and unique Fentons.

"Chessie", the famous mascot of the C&O Railroad , a Class I RR which was formed in 1869 in Virginia. These "Chessie" Jars or Boxes were given to C&O Railroad Employees.
