HUGE & RARE FENTON COBALT CARNIVAL HOBNAIL SWUNG VASE - 18 & 1/2" TALL! RELISTED & OPENING BID REDUCED! If I remember correctly only a few hundred First Quality Vases were made in this gorgeous Cobalt Blue Carnival Glass color treatment in 2004 for Singleton Bailey. This is guaranteed to be a 1st Quality version , and in excellent undamaged condition. I have collected several of these Vases, and this is the one I chose for my private collection, which I am now downsizing. This Vase is the largest one I've ever seen at a towering 18 & 1/2" high!
Quite difficult to find now... this FENTON Limited Edition Vase measures 18 & 1/2" tall and 4 & 1/2" at its widest. This Vase is very sturdy and substantial, weighing nearly 3 pounds without box and packing materials. I have taken a series of photos in different light levels to show the mesmerizing Hobnail pattern and Electric R ai nb ow Carnival Glass coloration -- it is magical! This gorgeous Swung Vase has the most fantastic Cobalt Blue Carnival Iridescence! Makes a striking display. I have received many compliments on this Vase. Imagine the difficulty of the Glassmaker and his or her helpers producing this VERY LARGE Vase by the art of "swinging" the Vase round and round in a circle to achieve the height! The epitome of handmade Art Glass -- w each one is different & unique! This beautiful Vase still bears the original silver Fenton label and is marked Fenton '0' on the bottom of the base. No chips, cracks, or repairs, and has only been used for display. Fenton's Limited Edition glassware make a beautiful investment. I am sorry about the high cost of shipping, but Sellers now must deal with higher Post Office rates -- over which I have no control. The Calculator is merely an estimate. I estimate the shipping box to be about 23" x 11" x 9" and the final box will weigh 5 to 6 lbs. after packing. Items such as FRAGILE GLASS need extra size & cushioning to arrive safely... thank you for understanding. I pack FRAGILE GLASS very well to survive delivery.
