FENTON COBALT FAIRY LIGHT "GOD BLESS AMERICA" 9-11-01 Up for sale is a GORGEOUS Fenton Cobalt Blue Fairy Light. It was a part of Fenton's "Stars and Stripes Collection" in 2001. The fairy light was handmade and handpainted by the skilled glass craftsmen at Fenton in West Virginia. It was only produced from October 15 until the end of the 2001 year. It was designed in response to 9-11-01 and a portion of the sales were donated to the United Way's September 11th Fund for the needs of those affected by that day. This beautiful fairy light stands 4 1/2 inches tall and features a handpainted American flag and the message, "God Bless America." It was signed by the painter on the back under which are the words: "STARS AND STRIPES 2001." This stunning fairy light is in MINT condition, never displayed, and comes with the original box. It is a collector piece, never to be made again. In Fenton's words: "Please enjoy this lasting symbol of American pride!...Americans helping Americans." This is a piece you will treasure for years to come!
