You are bidding on one Collector Plate by the Fenton Glass Company. This plate is No #4. A beautiful Amethyst Carnival Art Glass plate. The camera does no justice for the looks of this plate due to all of the fine detail and shine of this plate. The Fenton sticker is on the front of the plate. T are no chips or cracks. On the back of the plate stamped with the following reads: "With this handmade plate, Fenton commerates one of the earliest shoemakers of Colonial America. Thomas Beard, a skilled cordwainer, came to Salem, Mass. in 1629. The community gave him fifty acres of land and paid him 10 English pounds a year for his work. No. 4 in the annual series of Collector's Plates by Fenton. 1973" Fenton is stamped on the back of the plate. Thank you for looking, and good luck bidding.
