WELCOME TO MY AUCTION! A SPECIAL THANK YOU TO MY REPEAT BUYERS. I APPRECIATE YOUR BUSINESS AND HOPE YOU ENJOY YOUR PURCHASES FOR MANY YEARS TO COME! Item Description: This is a beautiful, old and VERY RARE Fenton CORAL PLATE with a plain back done in beautiful MARIGOLD base glass - 9 1/4 inches wide and 1 3/8 inches tall. This is a rarely seen pattern, very elusive, and the plates are a VERY rare commodity. T aren't very many of these known to exist. This one really packs a punch...the shimmering iridescence is down right gorgeous! A multi-colored interior giving way to Marigold over a breathtaking pattern. It gives up a sensational show in natural light....a visual feast for the eyes! I've only owned a few Coral pieces and its one of my personal favorites. Look over the pictures...it is very pleasing to view on display, really lights up a space. A wonderful piece of vintage carnival glass... not marked in any way. It is a TOP SHELF example of this pattern, color and shape and an overall outstanding investment quality piece of glass. NO UPGRADES NEEDED! If you've been wanting to add one of these to your collection, don't miss this one! I have included several photos of the piece so you can see for yourself. It looks even better in your hands as it is always very difficult to capture a piece like this on film and do it justice. You can reference this piece in David Doty's 1998 Field Guide to Carnival Glass or The Encyclopedia to Carnival Glass and Edwards and Carwile. I guarantee this is authentic, early 1900's vintage Carnival Glass! All my pictures are taken outside, ALWAYS, in natural, indirect sunlight against a dark or light cloth...no artificial light is ever used. I never enhance photos, if you like the color you see...that is what you will get! I do not use reserves, never have, I believe that auctions should be...well...auctions! So bid with confindence and have fun...LOW, LOW starting bid...it will sell to the high bidder. Item Condition: ( Pictures are part of the description...and I include lots of them...so please have a look!) This is a special piece in excellent condition. It has no chips, cracks, fleabites or repairs! Absolutely no major issues whatsoever. T are a few very faint, scattered manufacturing stretch marks visible, nothing u ncommon. T are a few very small enclosed manufacturing bubbles...again nothing uncommon. T he base is fantastic...slight shelf wear noted on the bottom if anything at all. You must really stretch your imagination to see anything. The mold seams are barely t to the touch...but thats it. Overall excellent condition. The Edge Treatment is in excellent shape. The edge is even and well done. Very nice. The Interior (or face)I can make out no wear on the face. Super nice. The face is in overall outstanding condition! The best! The Back also is super nice, lightly iridized. The mold seams can be seen and are slightly raised. T are a few very tiny, pin-head sized flecks of loss of iridescence on the back. Simply it is the very slightest wear and only visible upon extremely close inspection. Very minor and nothing uncommon. Overall excellent condition! T hat is all I can find on this RARE and beautiful plate...it is an awesome example! You will not find a finer example anyw I 've looked the piece over hard and I'm being very picky. I included lots of pictures, up close, so have a look. I collect Carnival Glass myself and I try to be very thorough with my descriptions, like I like others to be when I'm buying so you know what you are getting. It is a solid, investment quality piece of glass. TOP SHELF ALL THE WAY on a great example of a RARE and elusive pattern! It has been taken care of and is very clean. The pictures show it well, please look them over. If you like the color you see, that is what you will get! You can't go wrong with this piece. Any questions for verification or clarification, please ask! DO NOT BID IF YOU KEEP YOUR FEEDBACK PRIVATE! I DO NOT WELCOME YOUR BUSINESS! I do accep...
