Welcome! Offered today is this beautiful black & white slag September Morn nymph & bowl produced by Fenton for the 2007 convention. You need to look at the pictures to see the incredible beauty. It is a mixture of varying hues of black and brown. These slag colors are challenging for Fenton to produce. It is approx. 7-1/4" tall overall. The bowl is about 2-1/4" tall and 4-1/2" across. Less than 180 of these were produced. Out of those, t were a number of nymphs that had little or faint color. These are beauties and will be an asset to your collection. Available ONLY to FAGCA members. Condition: MINT and in the original box. The nymph has the Fenton logo on back near base. The bowl is marked with the FAGCA 2007 butterfly stamp on base. One of the great things about these is that the nymph has a plastic piece at the base w it is inserted into the bowl, so it keeps the nymph and bowl from chipping! Fenton sticker is intact inside bowl. Every year around the beginning of August, the Fenton Art Glass Collectors of America have their convention. In order to have access to the activities, you need to be a member. One of the highlights of the convention is the special glass that is made exclusively for the FAGCA members. Unfortunately, with Fenton going out of business, this means the end of new glass for us unless the factory opens again on a smaller scale - we can only hope. Only members may purchase these pieces. Because FAGCA is a nonprofit organization, they may only sell to members, not the general public. So enjoy these beautiful pieces of art glass! Insurance is recommended but not required.
