FENTON ART GLASS ~ PROUDLY MADE IN USA Folks, we've collected Fenton for many years. Decades in fact. More often than not - almost always actually, my breath is taken away by Fenton's wares.. Sometimes I come across an item that absolutely takes my breath away. This folks, is one of those items. This absolutely stunning Burmese (Console?) Bowl is made using the "old" Daisy & Button pattern on the outside. It's an old pattern that is Fabulous with Fenton's Burmese! As you can see, there is A LOT of outstanding Blush, which comes from the Gold used in Burmese Glass. It is handpainted with Full, Dreamy Roses & Floral Accents that make this piece just Exquisite & Signed by the Artist. It is very large, approximately measuring 12 3/4" by 9 1/2" and stands approximately 4" tall It weighs OVER 3 lbs. I do not know where this piece originated. The previous owner thought he purchased it some years ago at the Fenton Gift Shop, that it was never introduced to the Fenton's regular line. I've never seen this piece, but maybe you have. If you have any information on this item, please let me know ~ your knowledge is much appreciated. I do know that this person had two of these...and I bought one for myself.
