You are bidding on this VINTAGE FENTON GLASS HAND PAINTED GONE WITH THE WIND - PARLOR - BANQUET ELECTRIC TABLE LAMP. This Hand Painted Lamp is SIGNED by its ARTIST , Jan Curtis (see picture below). It is in STRIKINGLY BEAUTIFUL - EXCELLENT CONDITION and is in good working order. Its Ribbed Ruffled Top Globe and Ribbed lower section are HAND PAINTED all around with gorgeous FLOWERS and LEAVES . It has a Turn Key style on/off switch to turn just the lower section light (night light) on or just the globe main light on or both the night light and globe lights at the same time. The Night Light Bulb and Main Light Bulb are both included. Being HAND PAINTED and ARTIST SIGNED makes this a very unique, one of a kind Lamp. No other one can be, in all ways, exactly like this one. It measures 20 1/4 inches high, from the bottom to top of Chimney. Please see all our pictures below.

Why are we including this Postcard (unused) with this Lamp??? In order to answer that question, we must tell you how this Lamp came into our family. My Aunt was visiting Unionville, Ohio and vicinity around 1950. While t, she would dine at the beautiful and Historic "The Old Tavern" in Unionville, Ohio. She always described "The Old Tavern" as having a charming Colonial Atmosp, great dining and decorated with lots of Lamps in its windows and throughout, with many of them being this style of Fenton Lamp. The table she sat at was next to a window w this Lamp was displayed. She fell in love with it and "pestered" (smile) the Tavern owner to sell it to her. Finally, on her last visit to "The Old Tavern", the owner gave in and sold it to her. He gave her this Postcard to serve as a reminder of w she aquired this gorgeous Lamp.

Even though this Fenton Lamp is valued a lot higher than our low $24.99 (no reserve) starting price, we are starting low in order to make this a true auction and let the good people of ebay decide its final price. Serious bidders only please.

It will be VERY, VERY, VERY SAFELY PACKED and mailed to the lucky winner via USPS Priority Insured Mail, 2 to 3 day delivery. Please email us any questions.

POSTAGE/SHIPPING INFO - PLEASE READ : We NEVER charge a handling or packing materials fee. We have no hidden fees. We GUARANTEE that the Postage Cost and Postal Insurance Cost (if required), that the winner pays, is exactly what we will have to pay to ship the item to the winner. Although HIGHLY unlikely, if we make a mistake and charge more for Postage/Insurance than it actually costs to ship to the winner, we will refund the difference to the winner . If we under charge on what it actually costs to ship, then we absorb the loss. We promise to ship not later than the next business day after payment is received. We will ship Worldwide.

Correction on the Postcard history stated above: After reading our description, another relative said that my Aunt did buy this LAMP around 1950 exactly as we described in our description above, but thinks that my Aunt was not given this "reminder" "The Old Tavern" Postcard until her last trip to that area in the early 1960's. This correction may seem very insignificant to many because you are bidding on the LAMP and not the Postcard. However, it is very important to us to ALWAYS strive to be as accurate as humanly possible in every aspect of all our descriptions on ebay. Thanks!
