Fenton Glass October Birthstone Bear W/ Rose Zircon Gemstone~Discontinued in 1987 QVC~ ~In Excellent Vintage Condition. No Damage. Guaranteed Authentic.~This sweet glass Fenton bear was handmade in the USA and has a Rose Zircon gemstone heart which represents the month of October. The bear has the o riginal Fenton label on the bottom, a Fenton oval embossed on his back, and measures 4 inches in height. It also comes with its original hang tag that states "October bears are the best. I'm fun and artistic. A little lazy too. "Put me in the sun, I'll sit back and shine there forever. "Everyone needs an October bear." ☺ This is the older bear that was first sold on QVC back in the mid 80's. They have since been recreated in 2009 and you can tell the difference with the hang tag and difference in stones.In 1987, Fenton formed an ongoing relationship with QVC, a home shopping network.
