This is one of my very favorite Fenton pieces! It's called Grape and Cable (exterior) with Persian Medallion (interior) footed orange bowl in marigold. This pattern is also known as Fenton Grape and it was produced from 1920 to 1925. According to my books this combination is considered scarce . The base color of this piece is marigold and it stands 5-1/4" tall and it is 10" across in diameter! This is a very nice, large footed bowl! T are no large chips, no nips or cracks in this piece! But t is a flat chip, 1/4" in one place on the outside of the rim that I want to mention and I have provided a photo for you along with a photo of what appears to a very small burst airbubble on the tip of one of the scalloped tooth on the rim which occured at the time of production, which is hardly noticeable. With the size of the chip and it's location it is very easy to just rotate it to the back and none would be the wiser. The feet are all in excellent condition with no damage and as with all vintage pieces of carnival glass it has the usual, to be expected, characteristics such as a few small trapped airbubbles, tool marks and straw marks. Personally I think the Persian Medallion pattern looks best in marigold and having THAT gorgeous pattern WITH that other gorgeous pattern of Grapes and Cable on the exterior....wow! This is a stunning bowl and I have no doubt you will very pleased to add it to your own collection! Some pieces are hard to let go of and this piece is most definitely one of them! I hope you enjoy it as much as I have! Thank you for looking!
