's a nice piece for your consideration! We'll be listing 3 of the Green Coin Pieces this week, so if you are a Green Coin Dot Fan, hope you'll check the other's out. They will be on separate auctions. This is the Green Coin Dot, 4" Creamer, that Fenton Glass produced between 1953 - 1954. T is a full chapter on this in John Walk's Book, "The Big Book of Fenton Glass, 1940 - 1970", the 5'th edition on Pages 36 and 37. T weren't too many pieces made in this treatment, nor did they sell alot of them, so t aren't that many around. I don't think they make the Rare List, but definitely the Harder to find, that's for sure. The condition on this piece is good as far as no nicks, chips, cracks, or repairs, and t is no discoloration, no water stains, or calcium deposits. But...sadly, t is a heat check, a fracture type mark in the handle of this one, w it attaches at the top of the creamer. The overall attachment of the clear glass handle to the body, is kind of rough, as well as t are several air-bubbles in the piece. I think if they had a "seconds" category back then, this likely would have qualified for that. But, in it's defense, even the "seconds" that they sell today, do still have some collectibility, so this piece I still think deserves a chance too! I don't think this piece has ever been used, as it still retains it's original Fenton, foil sticker on the upper portion of the creamer. It's even on upside down!...but t This poor little piece couldn't catch a bit of respect anyw, somebody putting the sticker on upside down too! So, as a collector piece, this one might be marginal, but as a show piece, and to have one of these highly sought after pieces, it still has a value t, especiallly having the sticker. I did put up a close up of the area on the handle I'm referring to. It is noticeable, but not quite as bad as the photo makes it out to be. I wanted to get right in t, and guess maybe I overdid it, as the photo does magnify the area, and it's not quite that bad. Being a cased glass, it is lined in a very pretty and bright lime green interior, surrounding the white opalescent, forming windows. When held up and look straight through the windows, you see mulitiples on the other side, some call these "angel eyes". This little creamer is 4" tall from bottom to top lip, and 2-1/2" wide at the bottom, and just over 2" at the top, not quite 2-1/4" wide. Thanks for taking a look, and hope you will check out the other 2 pieces we have up as well. This would be a wonderful addition to any Fenton Collection, so I hope you won't let this get by! We love to combine shipping, so you could get all three and save on shipping costs! ************************************* Please refer to all photo's that are displayed for condition and visual description. Please be sure to ask all questions you might have before bidding. We do ship Priority and insurance is REQUIRED for breakables. This is older glassware, and despite our careful packing, glassware just doesn't belong in Parcel Post Shipping, the price difference is usually less than a dollar. Insurance is required and we will no longer make exceptions. Rather than charge a flat rate packing/handling fee like some sellers, we do a graduated fee ranging anyw from just 50 cents up to $3.50 maximum. We've recently changed this as we feel this is fairer, as some of the pieces are so small and it's not fair to charge the same as a larger piece, or lamp. So, obviously a small figurine or vase would be charged 50 cents, and the Large vases, lamps, or multiple items could be charged up to $3.50 due to the extra packing materials required to assure a safe delivery. We have this fee INCLUDED in our shipping fees, so the price you see on the ebay shipping calculator is what you will pay....we don't add anything to that price again. We love to combine shipping for you! We charge the actual weight of the packed box and insurance to value. We only app...
