Offered today is a SINGLE hand painted, numbered, signed, limited edition FENTON Carnival Glass Egg on a footed pedestal with original tags. The painting appears to be a Japanese girl in a Kimono kneeling. I've seen this called a "Mary Gregory", but since she passed away in 1908 and this was produced in the early 1990s at best it is in a "Mary Gregory style". I detected no Fenton marking other than the adhesive label that is still in place on the bottom of the bases. The 2 eggs are numbered on the bottom of the base. One is 2165 of 2500 signed by D Fredrick and the other is 2313, signed by B Cambridge. Also on the bases is the date 1995. The pedestal and egg are both an OD of 2" while the item is 3 1/2" tall. Included is an original tag and possibly more as I am still unpacking. Each solid egg, unpacked, weighs 9.4 ounces.
