"A Good-Looking Chic!" A very ornate design and a wonderful example of a Hen/Chicken On Nest. This is a heavy glass piece showing incredible detail in the mold of all the feathers. It is hand painted and signed inside the lid "handpainted by D Barbour ." The painting is in very pleasing muted shades of teal, peach, red with a soft yellow beak and highlighted in gold. This "Chick" is 8" long x 5 ½ inches wide x 6 ½' tall. On the inside wall of the nest t is a couple white streaks. I cannot tell if it lightly scratched or whether it is some type of glue. I did not try to remove it. Otherwise i t is in great condition with no chips or cracks. T is a silver Fenton sticker on the inside bottom of the nest.
