Hello, and welcome to our auction! Having combined households and moved to a proportionately smaller residence, my mother and I will be offering some of our cherished collectibles for sale. Over the next few months, we will be listing beautiful American-made Fenton Art Glass, cute and cuddly Boyds Bears, assorted collector's plates from various makers, and perhaps some porcelain figurines. All of these items have either been in climate-controlled storage or displayed behind glass in curio cabinets. I cannot guarantee that these items have not at some point been exposed to dust, smoke, or pets. All of these items are from our personal collections. Offered is a Fenton Handpainted Sitting Cat. This white satin glass charmer has been adorned with blue, purple, and coppery hearts and tiny bouquets of flowers in the same colors. Her pretty little face has been painted; her eyes are a delicate purple complete with eyelashes! The inside of her ears and her tiny nose are the coppery color. It looks as if she is sticking out her little coppery tongue, and her paws are tipped with this same color. She is just too cute and, in typical kitty fashion, she knows she's adorable.
