This auction is for a complete Hobnail Milk Glass Punch Bowl Set, made by the Fenton Art Glass Company between 1958 and 1966. This set includes the Huge 7 Quart Punch Bowl, the Punch Bowl Base, 12 Punch Cups and 12 Chromium Punch Cup Hooks. The 12 punch cups are each 2 1/2 inches tall and are 2 3/4 inches across. Each cup is in perfect, mint condition. The rare punch bowl base is 3 3/4 inches tall and is 8 1/2 inche across. This piece is in mint condition, and is very hard to find. The 7 quart Punch Bowl is 7 3/4 inche tall and is 14 3/4 inche across. The Punch Bowl on the base stands over 10 3/4 inche tall. This punch bowl is in overall beautiful condition. T are 2 hobnails (out of 100's) that have very small dark dots on the end. I have tried to clean with soap and water, but have not tried any other cleaning product. T is one small flat spot/factory blemish on the top of one ruffle. Every time I look for it....I have to turn the bowl around and around to find it. This is a stunning set.......vintage Fenton.....not made in almost 40 years !!! This set is pre-makers mark, but is listed and pictured in "The Big Book of Fenton Milk Glass 1940 - 1985", by John Walk, on page # 36. The list price for this set, as of 2002, was $525-$550. Ind. Pieces are listed as follows : Punch Bowl $125-150; Punch Bowl Base $100-125; and 12 Cups at $20-$25 each. This set also includes 12 Original Fenton Chromium Cup Hooks, that come in the original fenton envelope.(price/value unknown) Great set for that special collector in your life.....nice set for those upcoming holiday parties.
