Disclaimer: I can not PROVE that this is Fenton. However, this is what I do know. My aunt found it all in her great cousin Marion's estate. She passed away at 89 this year. My aunt remembers Marion collecting a lot of Fenton when she worked at a fancy department store. The discount allowed her to "buy the good stuff". It would be mostly from the 1950's and 60's. Marion treasured collection but rarely used it. They are all in excellent condition. In researching these pieces I have discovered that they did not start marking the pieces until the 1970's. I've also read that people who know Fenton look for the swirls which are very hard to capture on camera. My aunt is sure this is Fenton since her collection included signature pieces like the lavabo and Silver Crest pieces. I have tried to photograph as best I can - if you would like more, or if you can tell me what to look for if it is important to you please email with questions BEFORE bidding. I am not trying to make a fortune on these lovely pieces. My aunt would just like them to be as treasured as they once were. To repeat - I can not guarantee this is Fenton but all indications are that it is.
