Hi, I am offering this absolutely fabulous Red Carnival Glass Basket made by Fenton Glass Company in 1995 to Commemorate Fenton's 90th Anniversary. This Basket was made in the very popular Holly and Berries pattern. This ruffled basket has the most unbelievable, brilliant iridescence that I have ever seen! I have collected a lot of carnival glass but this piece has such a soft look to it. I just can't explain it's beauty! I tried to display this on several different cloths so that it would show off the colors, but still the pictures do not do it justice. The basket is 9 1/2 inches long and just under 8 inches wide. The total height is just under 9 inches. I bought this basket even though it had a crack on the handle. See pictures 6 and 7. I took it to a very reputable glass maker on cape cod who repairs antique stained glass etc. This glass repair man was recommended to me by Pierpoint Glass Co. which has been in business forever. This gentlemen reassured me that even with the crack in the handle the piece would not break, I did however have him reinforce it with apoxy. You have to look for it to find it. If you don't mind a piece of fabulous glass with a bit of personality, this is the one for you. The rest of the basket is flawless! This basket has a value of $1,400.00-$1,600.00 in the Fenton Art Glass Book by Margaret & Ken Whitmyer read more
