FENTON MILK GLASS GWTW/GONE WITH THE WIND POPPY LAMP 24"

Up for bid is a Large Beautiful Fenton Gone with the Wind Poppy style parlor Lamp.

It measures 24" tall with two White Milk glass globes covered in the Lovely Poppy pattern.

The top globe has the Fenton Crimping.

The bottom globe has a small light in it & the top takes a regular light bulb.

When you turn it once- it becomes a nightlight, turn it twice- it lights the top light, turn it three times both lights light up, turn it a forth time and it shuts off.

This lovely piece is White Milk Glass and it has such a wonderful glow when lit. The Poppies seems to pop out.

It also comes with a frosted hurricane chimney. The frosting is gently coming off w the chimney sits in the metal holder. It does not take away from the beauty of this lamp. When in the holder, you can not see it.

This lamp is in excellent shape! No chips or cracks!

The metal is very ornate and the light switch is an antique turn key switch. It comes with the original plug intact.

This beautiful lamp is in the book of Fenton Art Glass colors on Page 99 as # 9101 MG .

It was introduced in 1972 and discontinued in 198o's.

Fenton has announced that it is closing this year after 105 years of making the best glass, I am sure that all of their pieces will increase in value. I for one will be sorry to see Fenton close.
