FENTON "DIAMOND LACE" #1948-TG CAKE PLATE - RARE This is a slight variation, perhaps a whimsy piece, of the 14" french opalescent with aqua crest cake plate, offered from 1948 until 1951. Rather than a flat surface, the edges have been turned up slightly, giving the sides a gently sloping look, and making the modified diameter 13". It would make an extraordinarily beautiful console bowl. Marks: None. Condition: Excellent. No chips, cracks or other damage. Insurance will be required for this item.
