This is a Fenton Art Glass Peach Blow/Black Rose Tulip Vase. It is white glass on the outside, and peach colored glass on the inside; and it is edged in a black crest. Fenton named this "Black Rose." The back edge of the vase is pulled up when the glass is still hot, and the front edge of the vase is pulled down. This creates the "tulip" shape to the vase. This vase was produced in the years 1953-1954. The item number is 7250, and this vase is considered rare today. Vase measures 8.5 inches high; the diameter around the bottom "bulb" of the vase is approximately 4 inches; the diameter of the mouth of the vase is 2 inches; and the width across the top of the "tulip" is 5.5 inches. Vase alone weighs 1 pound, 2 ounces. T are no cracks, chips, or nicks on this piece. T are a couple of very small areas on the front side of the "bulb" of the vase that appear to be scratched by something metal. They are approximately 1/4 inch long, and appear to be a very fine, silvery colored scratch, as if the vase had rubbed up against something metal. These areas are not dark or easy to notice unless one picks up the vase to inspect it closely. No one will see it if you display it in your home! Overall, this piece is in very good condition! This vase would make an EXCELLENT Mother's Day gift - especially if your mom has a Fenton glass collection! I require full payment within 7 business days. I accept PayPal, money order, cashier's check, or personal check. Money order and checks MUST clear bank before item is shipped. This will usually be 7-10 business days. Please keep in mind that these methods of payment will significantly delay the shipping of the item! I ship via U.S. Postal Service Priority Mail, and the cost is calculated upon sending the package from my zip code to yours. (Varies by location). Insurance coverage is optional, and will cost you $2.45. I strongly recommend that buyer opts for insurance coverage due the rarity of this item. I do pack with bubble wrap, and foam peanuts; and I use brand-new boxes to ensure that the item does not break during shipping, but t are no guarantees that damage will not occur. I do offer a return policy, and it is stated below. Thank You for Looking at my Auction!
