Welcome to my auction! I have about 200 pieces of beautiful Carnival Glass. Please check my other auctions for items you might like! This auction is for a Blue Carnival Glass Bowl. This is the "Peacock & Urn" pattern made by the Fenton Art Glass Company in the early 1900's. It is unmarked. You can reference this pattern in the Standard Encyclopedia of Carnival Glass, 9th Edition on page 190. This is a gorgeous Bowl! It measures 9" in diameter with the Bearded Berry exterior. The base is cobalt blue. All of those things are perfectly normal for a Fenton bowl. What is unusual is the front - the amazing magenta, pink, turquoise and bright purple colors on a soft, satiny finish. These colors are so vivid - this is beautiful! I hope the pictures show the colors - I took them outside, without a flash or any enhancement. I used different backgrounds to bring out the gorgeous colors. No chips, cracks or repairs.
