These vases were made to have a glass butterfly above the flowers on the right hand side and this one never had one and was purchased by my mother as a first quality from qvc and she bet realized til years later that it was suppose to have it . Rare factory mistake error . Fenton QVC 2003 hand painted heirloom optics spiral opalescent tall vase with pink flowers and a violet purple crest ruffled rim . Has the description and signature on the bottom signed by George W Fenton . Also included all the paper work and certificate as well as the original round designer purple & pink striped collectors box that does have and show a little wear because we stored the vase in it for several years. Vase is in excellent condition and still has the silver Fenton label sticker . I have photographed the area where the butterfly should have been so you can see it is a very smooth area just like the rest of the vase . Selling to be able to help my daughter buy baby furniture for my first grandbaby . Check out my other items and collectibles as well as antique quilts .
