The Izadora Exhibition is offering quite a few pieces from Fenton glass. This auction is for 1 FENTON IRIDIZED CARNIVAL GLASS STANDING SANTA FROM THEIR 95TH COLLECTION IN 2000. This beauty is in original condition with no condition issues - no cracks, chips or breaks. He was made in West Virginia. These Santas make wonderful holiday gifts. Every year when the recipient takes out their holiday decorations they will think of you. Some people don't like Christmas type holiday gifts because they think it is too late for the person to enjoy the piece but I feel that since it gets put away after each season that the recipient rediscovers the piece every year so is just that more precious. He is 9" x 4". Izzy I'm an Old Paris Limoges collector so don't know much about Fenton but I do know that they are a family business that has been blowing wonderful glass pieces since 1905. From what I know the business is still in the active hands of the Fenton family which is a rarity for such an old business. I'm an avid antique collector and see many of their old creations in most antique stores. A customer advised me that Fenton is going out of the art glass business at the end of this year after 106 years. I guess they had a good run but this is too bad. We will mail these USPS Priority mail with tracking and insurance. He weighs 2 lb 10 oz alone read more
