This lovely and unusual Vintage jug, ware #7264, was produced only in 1956. Pictured in Walk's "Big Book" on page 172.Standing 9" tall, the soft, translucent Turquoise pastel milk glass is complimented beautifully by the Ruby cased interior. Very few pieces of this treatment were produced, making it a rare and delightful example of 1950s Fenton at its whimsical, experimental best. The pitcher is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, flea bites or wear. It does have tiny broken bubble in the interior ruby glass, which you can see in the picture, if you look carefully. This is considered a factory flaw much like a mold mark. Walk values this piece at $175, my reserve is much lower, reflecting the bubble imperfection. I am also selling the companion vase in a separate auction. A wonderful Valentines gift for your favorite art glass collector.
